Out of all of the songs, albums AND EPs on this week’s New Music Friday playlist, one of the most exciting releases is DEFINITELY Zach Bryan‘s brand new album All My Homies Hate Ticketmaster (Live from Red Rocks).

The Oklahoma native surprised fans with a special gift this holiday season, releasing this 24-track project to all music streaming platforms on Christmas Day. In addition to being incredible from top to bottom, the title of the album itself throws shade at Ticketmaster, a popular mobile ticket platform that Bryan has expressed his dissatisfaction with on numerous occasions.

The album contains the entire setlist from Bryan’s debut performance at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado, which was CLEARLY a show to remember!

Due to the snowstorm on the day of the show (November 3rd), Charles Wesley Godwin and Jonathan Peyton‘s performances were cancelled last minute. Thankfully, both country stars made it onto the album, joining Bryan in his opening performance of “Country Roads.” In addition to this, Charles Wesley Godwin hit the stage one more time to join Bryan on “Jamie” later on in his set.

Listening to All My Homies Hate Ticketmaster (Live from Red Rocks) from top to bottom makes us feel like we were ACTUALLY in attendance at this legendary show!

The announcement of this album came with a very opinionated tweet from Zach Bryan, highlighting the unfair price of concert tickets, teasing an upcoming tour and more.

The tweet says, “Seems there is a massive issue with fair ticket prices to live shows lately. I have met kids at my shows who have paid upwards of four-hundred bucks to be there and I’m done with it. I’ve decided to play a limited number of headline shows next year to which I’ve done all I can to make prices as cheap as possible and to prove to people tickets don’t have to cost $450 to see a good and honest show. To clarify, I am playing a few festivals which I have no control over. I believe working class people should still be able to afford tickets to shows, so please sign up for the laylo link in my bio to be the first to know about tour dates, registration, and the on-sale of tickets. I’ll also be sending merch-drops and unreleased music through this messaging service. I am so tired of people saying things can’t be done about this massive issue while huge monopolies sit there stealing money from working class people. Also, to any songwriter trying to make ‘relatable music for the working class man or woman’ should pride themself on fighting for the people who listen to the words they’re singing. A tour announcement is coming soon and I’m sorry it has taken so long. Just did everything I possibly could to make tickets more affordable. Also, ‘All My Homies Hate Ticketmaster (Live from Red Rocks)’ is streaming everywhere now.”

Reaching 2.2 million views on Twitter and increasing by the minute, this tweet caused a lot of chatter on social media, however, this didn’t come as a surprise to Zach Bryan fans.

Bryan has been extremely vocal about his negative feelings towards Ticketmaster on MANY occasions, even taking to social media to share his story about waiting seven hours get Taylor Swift tickets with his girlfriend, only to end up with nothing.

At the end of the tweet, Bryan promised everyone a tour announcement in the VERY near future, and he says that he “did everything [he] possibly could to make tickets more affordable.” We are so grateful and so excited to see if he will be hitting a city near us!

Until we can catch one of his tour dates, we will be streaming All My Homies Hate Ticketmaster (Live from Red Rocks) nonstop, pretending we are at one of Zach Bryan’s iconic shows! Listen for yourself below, and let us know what your favorite track is by either leaving a reaction at the bottom of the post or by sending us a tweet at @CS_Country.
