The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Lucy Romalotti’s (Lily Brooks O’Briant) desire to capture a close moment between her parents could lead to chaos in Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) relationship with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
In the December 28 episode, Lucy realized Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) had fallen asleep on Daniel’s chest during their family movie night.
That led to Lucy covering up both of her sleeping parents before snapping a pic of Daniel and Heather looking cozy.
Of course, Lucy doesn’t get to witness many moments like that now that Daniel and Heather are no longer a couple.
It’s easy to see why Lucy would want to take that picture and look at it when she’s missing the good old days.
However, it seems likely there are going to be issues involving that photo. After all, Lucy could’ve just left the room after covering Heather and Daniel up.
Y&R writers must’ve had a reason when they had Lucy stop and take the time to snap the pic. With that in mind, there are a few ways for this storyline to go.
It’s possible Lucy will show Daniel the picture and leave him eager for her to delete it.
Daniel might point out that it was a mistake to get that close to Heather and ask Lucy to get rid of the pic out of respect for Lily.
Then again, maybe Lucy will post it on her social media feed thinking it’s something cute and innocent.
Before Daniel even knows it exists, Lucy might put up the pic and act like it’s no big deal.
Another option might be if Lucy accidentally posts the picture when she’s posting some other recent holiday photos or uses it as part of a matchmaking scheme.
Even if Daniel finds out about the pic and warns Lucy that it’s not a good idea, she might share it somehow – perhaps in some group chat updates .
Regardless, it’ll certainly bring some great drama if Lily sees evidence of Daniel getting too close to Heather while she’s out of town.
