Eva Marcille has decided it is time for her to move on from the Real Housewives Atlanta. The mom-of-three announced her exit from the Bravo reality show on Tuesday during an appearance on the Rickey Smiley Morning Show.
“I appreciate the bond of friendship that I’ve made with my castmates and strong personal relationships I have with numerous executives and producers of Bravo,” Marcille said in a statement. “I am thankful for the opportunity I was provided, however, after speaking with my family and representatives, I believe that what I hope to accomplish for the culture and community will be better served by focusing on other opportunities.”

Marcille went on to say that she looks forward to serving the community on the Rickey Smiley Morning Show, as well as finding other ways to be a voice during “this transformational time during our country for people of color.”
The Young & the Restless alum says that she enjoyed the time she spent on RHOA, which included plenty of laughs, tears, and fights. The most important thing, says Marcille, is that she made some great friendships with some beautiful women.
After joining RHOA in 2017 as a “friend” of the Housewives, Marcille officially got her peach in Season 11 and joined the show as a full-time cast member. Marcille says that as she moves forward in her life, she will continue to focus on her three children: Marley Rae, 6, Michael Todd, 1, and Maverick, 8 months.
The cycle 3 winner of America’s Next Top Model had her daughter Marley with ex, Kevin McCall, and her two sons are with her husband, Michael Sterling. In addition to her children, Marcille will also keep busy with her CBD business and bedding line.

Eva Marcille says that she believes her time is up on Real Housewives of Atlanta now that she has a six-year-old daughter and two sons in diapers. She has to keep up with them 24 hours a day, and that is a lot of work.

Instead of focusing on the reality show business, Marcille says that she’s decided to spend her time and energy focusing on her kids and her community.
