Beth Wadsworth Obituary, Death Cause – On July 11, 2023, Beth I. Wadsworth (Townsend), 54 years old and a resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away quietly in her sleep. Beth Townsend was born in Danville, Illinois on July 6, 1969 to her parents, Larry and Betty Townsend. Beth spent her childhood in West Lebanon, Indiana, where she remained until the year 1987, when she graduated from Seegar High School. Following her graduation from high school, Beth relocated to Muncie, Indiana, where she attended Ball State University to receive a nursing bachelor’s degree in the year 1991.
After completing her education, Beth began her nursing career as a Registered Nurse at the Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Beth was a dedicated employee at St. Vincent until the day she passed away, devoting nearly 32 years to a nursing career that she cherished. She worked in a variety of departments throughout the hospital, including Endoscopy, Recovery, Pediatrics, and Neonatal Intensive Care, in addition to Maternity. Beth exemplified the basic responsibility of a nurse, which is to act as a caretaker for patients. Beth gave her absolute best to everyone she worked with or cared for, whether they were patients or colleagues. Someone who worked with Beth once remarked that she made it extremely clear to everyone she encountered how much she cared about them. Because of what she’s taught us, every one of us is a better nurse and caregiver now.
When Beth and David Wadsworth were both working seasonal jobs on Mackinac Island, Michigan, in 1989, that’s where they first met one other. In the end, Beth agreed to support David in his endeavors, and the two of them got married in May of 1992. Since then, they have been devoted to one another. Kira, Emma, and Andy are the three amazing children that Beth and David have been blessed with. Beth devoted her entire life to being a devoted and supportive mother and wife. She was a staunch and loving supporter of her family in all of their endeavors, passions, and struggles. She was there for them through it all. She set an example for her family through loving kindness, hospitality, humility, compassion, and hard work, which she then passed on to them.
