BBC Radio's Owen Bradley Gets Bullied On Twitter

Social media has become a great way to get your voice heard, to keep in touch with friends, fans or make new contacts. Sadly, it can often be really cruel. Everyone knows what cyberbullying actually is, and unfortunately, whoever you are you can get bullied just like so many celebs on Twitter.

Social media has become a great way to get your voice heard, to keep in touch with friends, fans or make new contacts.

Sadly, it can often be really cruel.

Everyone knows what cyberbullying actually is, and unfortunately, whoever you are you can get bullied just like so many celebs on Twitter.

It seems like this issue will never end, so we have to fight against it and save each other.

Owen Bradley, who is a journalist, commentator and reporter for BBC Radio Derby, got some stick on the social site last night for covering another game.

People who have followed Owen for a long time know that he’s a human with an amazing personality, he has always been ready to help people, answer questions, and interact well with fans meanwhile he did a great job.

The best thing about Bradley is that his job has never been just a job, but also his hobby and passion. It’s respectful if you work passionately while people notice that you have lots of fun when you do what you have to do.

However, the radio station decided to do the live football commentary of Burton v Liverpool instead of DerbyCarlisle. This decision forced some angry and reckless Derby fans to voice their personal and insulting opinions, even if Bradley just did what he does best.

After receiving abuse, the journalist decided to leave Twitter. His colleagues and supporters didn’t hide what they think about the case.

Did my mate/colleague @OwenBradley get some stick last night on Twitter? If so, I'm very disappointed. He's a top lad and does a great job.

Hopefully, Owen will give himself some time for thinking, will be back on Twitter, and probably will know that the people who criticised his work yesterday have just nothing better to do than bullying someone who is excellent at his job.
