Rumors swirled a few weeks ago that Justin Timberlake and his wife Jessica Biel are expecting their first child. It seemed that when a fashion editor gave the actress a congratulatory shout-out on social media that the news was true, though no one from either camp has come forward to either confirm or deny the rumor that the 32-year-old star is expecting. However, it seems that with the confirmation of yet another close friend of the couple, the news is certainly true.
“Right now they are just enjoying the news for themselves. They just want a happy baby,” says a friend of couple who is close to both and was privy to the good news that their little family is expanding. The couple has been married for just over two years, and they dated for five before they wed. They famously tied the knot with Biel wearing a pink gown, and have managed to stay out of the limelight ever since they’ve been together.
Notoriously private, this is a couple that doesn’t do much in terms of public outings and red carpet appearances, and often they do those alone. However, Biel has been traveling with Timberlake much of this year as he’s been around the world on his 20/20 tour. Now we know why; they were in the middle of their biggest production yet; making a baby!
Despite their lack of PDA and public appearances together, the couple never has anything negative to say about one another, including what Timberlake had to tell Ellen DeGeneres in April last year.
“It’s nice to marry your best friend. It suits me. Every once in a while I can catch a glimpse of her when she doesn’t see me looking and I have this moment where I’m like, ‘If you never make a good decision…if you only make bad decisions for the rest of your life, you made one really good decision,” he said of his wife.
